DRAFT MOCKUP — not live, not on mwerevueducation.com — Ni Biashara for Mwerevu partnership

Home / How it works

How intervention is delivered

Small-group US K–8 Math and ELA, online, by college-educated interventionists. The method is MTSS/RTI — not homework help as a brand.

  1. Intake & diagnostics. Baseline on Math and ELA so grouping is skill-based, not just grade-level.
  2. Personalized plan. Each learner gets a plan that names the gap, the group, and the weekly target.
  3. Small-group live sessions. 1:2 and 1:3 ratios (as run in the Baltimore summer program). Live, online, with an interventionist.
  4. Weekly progress monitoring. Short checks so adults can see movement, not a report card surprise.
  5. Adult loop. Families, coaches, and school partners see the same story: attendance, skill, next step.

“AI-powered” in this mock means packaging for tools we would build around diagnostics, grouping, and dashboards — not a claim that a live AI product already replaced teachers.

Where it sits in MTSS

Tier I (core)

Classroom instruction stays with the school. Mwerevu is not a replacement for core curriculum.

Tier II (targeted)

Small-group intervention for students below benchmark — the 1:3 pattern used in Baltimore summer work.

Tier III (intensive)

Tighter ratio (1:2) and more frequent monitoring when the gap is wider.
